Evelina Fokina

Before attending ballet school, she practiced artistic gymnastics and attended a music school. In 2005, she enrolled in the Ballet Department of the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts.

During her studies, she performed at the “Dance Theater” and the stage of the “National Opera and Ballet Theatre” in productions such as “Doctor Aisgud”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “La Bayadère”, “Cinderella”, “Peter Pan”, “The Mill of Baltaragis”, “Coppélia”, and participated in various concerts. She also took part in the acting dance exam at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she performed choreographer Povilas Fokinas’ dance numbers from “West Side Story” and “Blue Rhapsody”.

After graduating from the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts in 2015, she began working with the “Baltic Ballet Theatre” troupe. In the same year, she traveled to France with the “Baltic Ballet Theatre” project to work with the “Palais d’Hiver” troupe, where she performed in choreographer Francois Mauduit’s production of “The Little Prince”. She has been working with the “Baltic Ballet Theatre” troupe since her return.

In 2019, she participated in the television dance project “Dance Revolution”. Currently, she performs in choreographer Marija Simona Šimulynaitė’s productions such as “Carmen”, “Aqua Chorus”, “Carl and the Flowers”, “The Army of Loneliness”, “The Veil of Vaiva”, “The Other World”, and participates in various projects and events, teaching ballet classes for children. Additionally, she performs in director Jonas Vaitkus’ productions of “Eugene Onegin” and choreographer Marija Simona Šimulynaitė’s “The Thirteenth Apostle or Clouds in Trousers”, as well as in choreographer Povilas Fokinas’ productions.
